Cassandra Nunan – Ola! Performance-focused, versatile, dedicated.
From uninvited singing on stage at the age of four in her father’s band, to filming lo-fi, home-made movies during her teenage years, to studying a BA Drama degree at the university of Pretoria, Cassandra Nunan always knew that she was not meant for a career behind a desk.
Cassandra has a knack for coaxing natural performances from her cast. She is driven by abstract storytelling, dance, and of course conspiracy theories. Since joining Ola Films in 2016, she has worked directly under the likes of Amy Allais, Chris Saunders and Mfundo Mkhize who have all mentored her and helped her broaden and develop her skill set. Her #AllForMasks campaign was a finalist for The Loeries Awards 2020 and came third in integrated campaigns for Creative Circle 2021.
